Ethan's First Parade and more February Fun!

The end of February we went to our very first Edison Festival of Lights Parade in Fort Myers as a family. I've been going since I was Ethan's age, and it was very important to me that he experienced the parade at this age too. The parade is a dedication to Thomas Edison, and is packed with floats, local high school bands, and community groups. It's so cool to see how the community comes together on this one day! So we packed a cooler and picked out our seats the morning of the parade. We were joined by our great friends Steve and Beata and her daughter Lilly. And Pierce and Rion met us there later on. We had a lot of fun. Ethan stayed up the majority of the night, but eventually he passed out around the last hour of the parade.

Ethan's First Valentine's Day

He was a cutie on Valentines Day. Aunt Adrienne and Uncle Chris babysat him while Mommy and Daddy went to Dinner.

February Fun!

Hello All! Sorry its been a while since Ethan's blog has been updated. We get busier and busier everyday that he gets older and older! Below are some pictures of fun times through out February.

Just to get you updated! In February Ethan was 4 months. He had his 4 month check up and at that time he weighed 15.8 lbs and measured 26.5 inches long! He started eating solids. He sits like a big boy in his high chair, and loves playing with toys while he eats. We started out with bananas, and he has now mastered applesauce, squash, sweet potatos, prunes, peaches, carrots, and pears. He hates Peas! At 4 months he was doing better with tummy time. His head and neck were getting very strong, and he was able to rest himself on his elbows. He smiles and laughs constantly, and is very ticklish! He loves to watch tv. Cartoons mostly, on the Disney Channel. His favorite shows right now are Handy Manny, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We go to the library once a week and get a bunch of books, and he loves looking at all the pictures in the books! He has started to get better with reading Goodnight Moon each night, but sometimes it takes 3 books before bed to get him calmed down.

He is a very happy baby! Loves everyone for now!
